Pérez-Llorca is a long-time user of Check Point solutions. In their latest engagement, Pérez-Llorca upgraded to Check Point R80 integrated Threat Prevention and installed SandBlast Mobile on all corporate mobile devices.

My name is Aitor Lasala. I work for a law firm in Madrid, in Spain, the company name is PerezLlorca.
In our case we realize that a few years ago that security in mobility was a must, especially
because it contains as much information as a laptop can contain nowadays. At the moment we
choose SandBlast Mobile.
It was because it was one of the very few solutions that could fit into iOS. It was quite well
designed.
We really like the concept when we saw it on the demos and so on, and we really felt that it
could analyze both the network and the apps installed on the device in quite an efficient way.
We're using SandBlast Mobile with Thirdwatch, which is our MDM solution.
We're protecting right now like 350 devices.
We had the MDM solution before going for SandBlast but we noticed that the MDM solution was
only taking care of the management of the device.
You couldn't control what he was doing with it unless you went into a very restrictive policies in
the MDM, which in our case didn't make sense, because we wanted the users to be self-reliant
on their device and use it both in a personal way, if they wanted to use it, and in a professional
way too.
We realized that we needed something else.
We needed something that could control the network connected on the device, the environment
of the device, the apps he had installed, and everything else.
So it just fitted everything together perfectly because the MDM could manage the device and the
SandBlast Mobile Solution could manage the content and the surrounding of this device.
Since we got SandBlast Mobile in our devices we really felt that the device was no longer a
point where a malware could attack.
We really felt that it was much more secure that before.
After establishing and setting a relation with Check Point, we realized that they take care of the
customer, they take care about your infrastructure, they try to advise you on what you need to
do, and we're pretty happy because they don't try to sell things we don't need.
They are honest with the customer, and of course, because they are leader on the security
industry right now.
Now we keep working with Check Point because we feel that they are quite innovative and that
they do things that really, really make a difference on the security platforms.
